- Collects and compiles list of suppliers and their available merchandise, equipment and services in accordance with hotel requirements.
- Receives proper purchase requisitions from head of departments.
- Compares prices with previous purchases and with current market prices.
- Checks daily new purchase requests received in the system, and verifies departmental specifications data entered correctly.
- Ensures full detailed reasons/explanations are entered through data regarding the item/s requested to be purchased.
- Responsible for obtaining quotations for all purchase requests assigned.
- Ensures best quality, competitive quotes for all procured items.
