Job Description
This is a remote position.
Pair with product managers and engineers to design new and enhance existing test
suites based on business requirements.
Design, develop and execute test cases in compliance with the business requirements.
Analyze the testing process, release cycle, testing tools & technologies, and suggest improvements.
Analyze, debug, and fix the automated tests on a daily basis and raise defects accordingly.
Work vertically on each feature to test the business logic on the server-side and the user
experience and user flows on UI (Mobile Application)
Developing test plans for various features at functional and system levels.
Identify edge cases that give unexpected or incorrect behavior.
Perform regression testing when needed
Track quality assurance metrics, like defect densities and open defect counts
Provide recommendations to developers on software usability and functionality
Investigate customer problems referred by Service Desk
Stay up-to-date with new testing tools and test strategies Computer science degree or equivalent experience.Requirements
Minimum X years of work experience in software testing.
CMSQ or ISTQB Certification
Experience with automation processes and frameworks
Experience with using open source tools like Selenium, Soap UI, Rest Assured etc.
Experience and in-depth knowledge of developing automation frameworks for Web
Applications, Mobile Applications, and API.
Excellent communication skills; explaining technical problems succinctly and clearly.
Growth mindset, challenging status quo to find new solutions and out-of-the-box ideas.
