- Oversees the supervision of personnel, which includes work allocation, training, promotion, enforcement of internal procedures and controls, and problem resolution; evaluates performance and makes recommendations for personnel actions; motivates employees to achieve peak productivity and performance.
- Directs, coordinates and supports the development and implementation of computerized maintenance management systems (CMMS) and standard Work Control operating procedures.
- Oversees computerized maintenance management system user support and training, and the installation of system and software enhancements.
- Manages the interface between the computerized maintenance management system and other departmental administrative systems to produce specialized reports.
- Develops and maintains workforce measurement reports; provides a scheduled computerized maintenance management system summary of division performance, and identifies those areas where efficiency and effectiveness may be improved.
- Provides summary analyses, projections, and associated recommendations to senior management.
- Evaluates and proposes changes to work processes and associated systems to improve the efficiency of the department's stewardship of resources.
