Infrastructure Engineer

• Monitoring and managing all installed systems and infrastructure on VMWare environment.
  
• The managing and maintaining Microsoft Active Directory and Exchange servers
  
• Plan and implement systems automation as required to achieve better efficiency
  
• Formulate and design the security system in place to maintain data integrity
  
• Prepare and install tests and maintenance of operating systems, application software and system management tools.
  
• Evaluate current systems and provide technical guidance to IT support staff.
  
• Monitor, diagnose and resolve VMware problems
  
• Manage and administer servers, networks, and applications such as DNS, FTP, and Web
  
• Maintain internal network structure of a data center by managing routers and keeping them running
  
• Install, configure, and maintain switches, servers, firewalls, and hard drives
  
• Troubleshoot network systems to identify and fix performance issues
  
• Perform system repairs and update software/operating systems
  
• Resolve operational, infrastructure or hardware incidents in a datacenter
  
• Timely reporting on the log sheet for the rapid response to any glitches
  
• Stay up-to-date with new technology trends
  
• Troubleshooting, identifying the main source of product problems, providing quick solutions, and paying attention to detail - when building and maintaining information systems infrastructure.
  

Requirements

• Proven experience in systems engineering (more than 5 years)
  
• Advanced knowledge of vSphere, vSAN, and other VMware products and systems.
  
• Working knowledge of servers, networks, and operating systems, troubleshooting
  
• Advanced experience for the following programs:
  
• VMware products (Horizon, vRealize, vSphere, Vcloud
  
• NSX Cloud Management
