Saloony is seeking a highly motivated Social Media Strategist to join our fast-paced marketing team. You will develop and implement a comprehensive social media strategy to increase our web traffic and our marketplace app brand awareness. As a Social media strategist, you should have excellent multitasking skills to handle all our social media accounts cohesively. If you have a creative way of thinking and of presenting our brand through multiple social media channels, energetic and extrovert person who enjoys being on camera and taking social stories with a great deal of zeal, we would like to make you part of our team. This role would report to the Marketing Manager What this looks like: • You will Design social media strategies to achieve marketing targets • You will Manage, create, and publish original, high-quality content (Arabic & English) • You will Administer all company social media accounts ensuring up-to-date content • You will Liaise with writers and designers to ensure content is informative and appealing • You will Collaborate with Marketing and Product development teams to create social ‘buzz’ regarding new product launches or Features • You will Facilitate client-company communication (respond to queries, get reviews, and organize chats and Q&A sessions) • You will Prepare weekly and monthly reports on web traffic and ROI • You will Monitor SEO and user engagement and suggest content optimization • You will Communicate with industry professionals via social media to create a strong network • You will send daily push notifications & weekly emails • You will help run our influencer program, engaging other influencers in the space, and partnering with them to share best practices and learnings. • You will be on a constant lookout for new connections to make, new opportunities to speak, new forums to contribute to, and new conversations to join. • You will maintain an engaged and trusted presence in social media channels. Who you are: • Proven work experience as a social media strategist • Hands-on experience using social media for brand awareness • Understanding of ASO, SEO and web traffic metrics • Understanding of advertising basics • An ability to identify target audience preferences and build content to meet them • Familiarity with web design such as Canva pro, final cut pro • Familiarity with web publishing platforms such as WordPress CMS • Familiarity with Analytics platforms such as google analytics • Strong written and verbal communication skills – English & Arabic • Excellent multitasking skills
