- The Director acts as the senior administrative officer for the Continuing Education Program.
- The Director will implement and lead comprehensive noncredit and for-credit programs.
- The incumbent will seek to service the general public and support training and professional development for local and regional business, government, non-profit, and professional communities.
- Working with the Executive Director of the School of Continuing and Professional Studies and the Continuing and Professional Education staff, the Director will exercise creativity, leadership, and a strong entrepreneurial orientation to develop or stimulate the development of comprehensive noncredit and for-credit programs that have strong appeal and are financially viable.
- The incumbent will lead the efforts of marketing, outreach activities, and promotion of the offered programs.
- He/she will lead, direct, and support all aspects of the Program, including Registration.
- The Director will also be responsible for staff, including but not limited to hiring, training, and management/supervision.
