Research Support Assistant

DUTIES:

• Perform experiments with bacterial cell culture, synthesis, and optimization of different nanoformulations with drug delivery.
• Cultivation of multidrug resistance bacterial biofilms on 3D scaffolds-Evaluate nanodrug effectiveness.
• Keep up to date with the advanced detection methods
• Perform TEM and the 3D confocal microscopy in addition to fluorescence imaging
• Perform the experiments and assist research students with protocols.
• Follow lab safety protocols and lab equipment maintenance.
• Communicate well with lab team including the PI and effectively coordinate tasks/plans.
• Analysis of experimental data. Provide regular reports and contribute on the writing of the manuscript.
• Help the PI with the teaching materials in case needed.
• Assist in processing administrative paperwork in case needed.
• Follow orders for lab items and keep the PI always informed about the received items.

POSITION QUALIFICATIONS:

MINIMUM:

• High School diploma or equivalent and 1 year of experience. Higher education may substitute for the experience.
  

PREFERRED:

• Master and trained in Nanotechnology applied to Microbiology and equivalent.
