Female House Manager

Female House Manager with Butler skills for Kuwait and travel

Our client is a nice local business family in Kuwait City whom are looking for a professional Female House Manager/Butler long term or with at least 1 years contract. For the right person, we will negotiate a high salary we have agreed with the client. Please only apply if you tick all the boxes.

Below is the list of the daily duties:

- Supervising and organizing the staff in the family’s property

- Delegates and gives tasks to employees at the property on behalf of the family

- Handles daily requirements of the family members

- Understands silver cleaning / taking care of antiques and fine art and can guide the other staff in the same matters

- Is competent in formal table settings and presentation

- Knows formal service to a high standard and is able to communicate with the kitchen and also train the other staff in giving top service - VERY important!

- Come up with ideas for daily lunch / dinner menus

- Travel arrangements

- Organizing events/parties

- Accompany the family on their trips (also might include pre arrangements before the family arrives)

The house has currently 15 staff:

4 maids from Philippines

3 House boys from India

2 drivers (1 Indian / 1 Yemen)

1 chef from Bangladesh and 2 kitchen helper from India

1 gardener from India

2 Handy men from India

They are looking to recruit more staff.

Days of work: 6 days a week and they may consider 5.5 days but no less days. The role requires long hours. It's not a 9am to 5pm job for sure but there is also a break in the afternoon, when the family rests.

It's hard to say as flexibility will be key in this role and it will be rewarded as well!

The family is very generous with employees going the extra mile!

Requirements

- Female only

- The family has very good experience with candidates from all Asian countries but welcome any nationality to apply as long as they have all the skills.

- Excellent English written and spoken is mandatory

- Ideal age: 30-50 isg we think is ideal for the role

- Flexible

- Willing to travel with the family (to Europe /US)

- Min 5-7 years of experience in service (at least 5 in private service)

- Strong personality

- Highly organizational skills

- Needs to have a valid driving licence

It is a very demanding position which needs a strong personality, well organized, knows how to prioritize and is familiar with the Arab culture.

And most importantly somebody flexible.

The candidate should be ready to take care of all level support matters!

The candidate must have worked already in a HNWI household and must have excellent references.

Benefits

Salary: Negotiable between 50-60k per year approx. We are looking for the perfect match and when this person is found, the salary is generous. All requirements (they may agree to drop 1-2) must be filled.

1 Economy ticket home once a year

Yearly leave (holidays): 4 weeks

Housing: will have her own 1 bedroom apartment nearby the family villa (10-15 min drive max)

Will get a car to move around in Kuwait
