Job Description

- Designand install well-functioning computer networks, connections andcabling
- Perform troubleshooting to systemfailures and identify bottlenecks to ensure long term efficiency ofnetwork
- Inspect LAN infrastructure and fixminor or major problems/bugs
- Test andconfigure software and maintain and repair hardware and peripheraldevices
- Evaluate network performance and findways of improvement
- Organize and scheduleupgrades and maintenance without deterring others from completingtheir own work
- Do regular data backups toprotect the organization’s information
- Provide technical direction to co-workers on computer andnetwork usage and offer comprehensive advice andinstructions
