Pricing Analyst

ROLE A pricing analyst is responsible for analyzing competitor pricing matched with market expectations to determine the ideal target price for products of the business.

RESPONSIBILITIES

1. Perform competitor analysis on similar products and services.

2. Scope out opportunities based on market trends and industry condition.

3. Identify ideal pricing structures and sales funnels.

4. Draft strategic pricing plans and processes to improve existing projects.

5. Create reports reflecting metrics and project status, objectives and barriers.

6. Communicate findings effectively to relevant departments of the company.

7. Work with the sales and marketing team to define pricing structure for company products.

8. Address issues and concerns raised by team members relating to pricing suggestions.

SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS

1. Experience working as a pricing analyst in the same industry

2. Strong knowledge about the industry including competitors and market trends

3. Keen eye for identifying opportunity

4. Strong analytical and research skills

5. Excellent verbal and written communication skills

6. Good negotiations and problem-solving skills

7. Effective reporting and presentation skills

8. Enthusiastic and proactive team player
