- Serve as a Civil Engineer on an interrelated team of engineers/architects engaged in construction, design, review and inspection on or near US occupied Kuwait camps, including but not limited to Camp Arifjan, Camp Buehring, and Camp Patriot.
- Prepare design studies, design memoranda, final design calculations, technical specifications and labor and materials cost estimates for construction, renovation, maintenance and repair projects.
- Ensure that design, redesign, or modification is compatible with existing features/structures and that the equipment/system conforms to the operational requirements of the project and overall policy.
- Evaluate contractor's proposals and approve designs, specifications, shop drawings, material submittals, certification of compliance, samples, manufacturers' recommendations, catalog data, and operating instructions.
