- Apply and execute quality control policy according to the departmental and MOH regulations on all equipments.
- Observe all safety regulations set by the manufacturers while using any of the Radiology equipment.
- Give appointments and preparation for patients when needed.
- Strictly observe the safety rules and guidelines set by the Radiology safety committee and MOH Kuwait
- CheckCAREFULLYthe requests for radiology exams.(any missing data must be obtained)
- Execute radiology examination only after fully understanding the requests written by the physicians.
- Apply all safety measures to keep the radiation dose as low as possible for the patients or staff (lead protection, collimation, high kv technique and ext...)
- Strictly follow the established protocols in diagnostic imaging dept. (exposure factors, distance, positions, slice thickness, sequences etc.),while performing any radiology exam.
- Monitor equipment operation and report any mal functioning to supervisor without any delay.
- Perform all types of radiology exams which you are licensed for (general radiology
- exams, mammography, fluoroscopy, contrast exams, bonedensitometry, ct-scan and MRI)
