- Coordinating with other staff members to ensure that all aspects of an event run smoothly
- Overseeing the day-to-day operations of a hotel or other hospitality establishment, such as a restaurant or store
- Assisting with the planning and organizing of special events, such as weddings or conventions
- Maintaining a list of potential clients and suggesting appropriate services based on their needs and preferences
- Ensuring that all facilities are clean and presentable at all times
- Preparing expense reports based on actual costs or projected estimates of expenses for certain events or activities
- Managing employee schedules and payrolls for different departments within an establishment
- Scheduling staff to work specific shifts and ensuring that they have the proper training for their position
- Coordinating with catering staff to ensure that all food is prepared as requested
