We are seeking a motivated professional individual to join our Syria Response Office’s operations. The ideal candidate must have a Minimum (3) years of experience of project implementation in humanitarian/recovery contexts; along with (2) years of experience working in the WASH sector. Previous relevant experience in project coordination, management and team management is a position requirement. In addition, the candidate must be fluent in English, both written and verbal. The candidate must be a Bachelor’s Degree holder, with preference to water, environmental, hydraulic, civil engineering, or similar. Specific Responsibilities Project Cycle Management (PCM) and Implementation. As delegated by line‐manager, responsible for the successful implementation of all WASH projects delivered through direct modality throughout the full project cycle. The position‐holder may be required to represent the WASH project team in PCM meetings and to produce key PCM documentation (e.g. Procurement Plans, Work Plan, etc.). Capacity Building. As delegated by line‐manager, responsible for supporting the successful capacity building of NRC WASH staff in relevant competencies. This includes ensuring performance management of all WASH project team members, identification of capacity building needs, and planning and resourcing capacity building initiatives within the framework of the NRC Syria Response strategies, tools and guidelines.
