SOS Children’s Villages takes action for children as an independent non-governmental social development organization. We build families for children in need, we help them shape the development of their communities, we respect varying religions and cultures, and we work in countries and communities where our mission can contribute to development. SOS Children’s Villages Palestine is seeking to recruit Director of Fund Development and Communications who is: A creative, inspirational leader with entrepreneurial skills who is both strategic and also willing to work "hands on" She/he needs to have people management skills and a strong commitment to meet agreed targets She/he also needs to be able to actively identify and open new opportunities for financial support and maintaining high ethical fundraising standards She/he has to be a state resident with proven understanding and knowledge how things work in the country and well integrated in local business networks (e.g. membership of professional associations) and society.
