To contribute to the smooth running of the Bakery department and to obtain optimum level and highest standards of hygiene, production, customer service and sales.
I am accountable for
• Controlling wastage and expiry
• Measuring and mixing the ingredients
• Preparing items for display and promotion
• Putting items in the oven
• Arranging customer orders
• Setting oven temperatures
• Developing customer loyalty
• Labelling and costing products
• Monitoring baking time and progress
• Ensuring to decorate or slice items if needed
• Handling the monthly stock count
• Achieving sale targets & margin
• Ensuring the delivery of given tasks& duties
• Maintaining a proper Rota, leave plan & time card for my team
• Arranging and maintaining the right temperature for all refrigerators and freezers
• Ensuring to go through the “must have list” on a daily basis
• Knowing the process of mixing and baking products
• Fully understanding the brand values and ethics and communicate this effectively to the customer
• Building a strong and effective relationship with customers in order to deliver exceptional service
• Ensuring the production of a consistently high standard of food prepared in the bakery
• Delivering steps to provide great customer service
• Thanking customers when they leave and encourage them to test our product
• Fully understanding the brand values and ethics and communicating this effectively to the customer
• Studying the health regulations in order to ensure compliance
• Maintaining a high standard of personal hygiene and personal presentation
