Human Society was established in 1978 to help those with mental disabilities Over the years, the association has developed innovative and breakthrough rehabilitation services based on personalization and recovery approach values ​​that allow a person to live a full and meaningful life. Today, Human operates more than 60 service centers for contestants and counseling and assistance centers for family members throughout the country. The organization has about 700 professional workers and hundreds of volunteers who provide housing, employment, social and leisure and family counseling. The rehabilitation process emphasizes the integration of the challenger into the environment in which he lives and works, with professional reference not only to him as an individual, but also to his family and the society around him. The process is designed to give a person a sense of belonging to the community, security and hope. Human Society is the largest organization that provides rehabilitation services in the field of mental health in Israel. The services are mostly funded by the Ministry of Health through a rehabilitation basket.
