Job Description
Objective: The Alumni Relations Officer is responsible for engaging with the RCSI Bahrain Alumni community and managing their relationship with the institution by communicating the university developments, needs and achievements through newsletters, events, web page and other resources, as well as encouraging and promoting professional development on an individual level.  Key Responsibilities:• Act as the main point of contact for all communication between RCSI Bahrain and the RCSI Alumni community• Run the daily Alumni operations in coordination with the Careers Specialist to maximise the departments output• Develop and maintain a database of all RCSI Bahrain Alumni with information of movements and personal achievements to highlight to current students• Provide MarComms content for the Alumni Magazines / Newsletters and manage the Alumni page on the university website and online community• Liaise with Careers Specialist to organise gatherings, reunions, talks and other events with the aim of putting past and present students in touch from RCSI Bahrain and Dublin• Assist Alumni with employment related matters by providing documentation and guidance on applications to postgraduate posts• Produce periodic reports and analysis for senior management to highlight important data and propose recommendations and advise on strategic planning for the direction of Alumni engagement• Liaise with RCSI Dublin Alumni Office and arrange regular meetings/calls• Provide Alumni with benefits such as specials discounts and access to campus services such as the sports facilities and Learning Resource Centre• Perform miscellaneous job-related duties as assignedKey Requirements/Competencies:• Fluent in Arabic and English• Minimum Bachelor's degree in Social Science, Business Administration or Marketing• Minimum 3 years of related experience as specified in the responsibilities• Experience in Event Management and Project Management• Ability to prioritise workloads and meet deadlines, and work during weekends, evenings and attend business trips• IT and Customer Relationship Management skills are preferable• Intercultural competence - ability to interact both effectively and in a way that is acceptable to others of different cultural backgrounds
