The Food Truck Supervisor is responsible for the daily operations of a static food vehicle that prepares and serves food and beverages. Previous Kitchen/Cooking Experience in a Burger restaurant/joint is a must

  • Oversee the food truck operation including pre-shift food prep, assists in preparing and serving food and beverages, helps run food preparation lines, and takes customer orders.
  • Effectively supervises assigned employees through planning, organizing and prioritizing work schedules.
  • Trains staff in techniques, procedures and policies.
  • Provides outstanding customer service to all customers and the general public.
  • Operates a point of sale (POS) system and accounts for daily sales while following cash control procedures.
  • Follows all health and safety requirements and regulations of Ras al Khaimah
  • Ensures the serving area is clean, well-organized, and presentable
  • Ensures food consistency
  • Performs inventory control, completes weekly inventory sheets and daily restocking of product/supplies.
  • Performs opening and closing procedures.
  • Keeps owner promptly informed of key/significant issues or concerns.
  • Carries out duties and responsibilities in a safe and efficient manner
  • Greets all customers and answers questions; responds to inquiries from staff, customers and refers, when necessary, to appropriate staff.
  • Performs related duties as assigned or apparent.

Job Requirements

  • Prior CDP or Sous Chef as well as food service experience is preferred.
  • Working knowledge of food and beverage service including cooking and food preparation.
  • Previous supervising/management experience in a burger restaurant/shop is a must
  • Basic math skills and ability to accurately count and handle money.
  • Ability to develop and maintain effective working relationships with stakeholders, including staff and owner.
  • Ability to speak and write clearly, concisely and persuasively .
  • Ability to perform work with a high degree of accuracy and organization.
  • Ability to work cooperatively with others.
  • Ability to perform with considerable independence and initiative.
  • Restaurant/ F&B : 4 years (Required)
  • Cooking: 1 year (Required)
