Job Descriptions / Responsibilities:
Monitor and analyse trends in claims spending/unit cost and utilisation of services at provider level in order to identify areas for possible savings supported by a rigorous Unit cost improvement program put in place at Provider level.
Plan, coordinate and carry out with providers periodic performance review to ensure objective deliveries as per targets and maintain professional relationship.
Improve agreements of existing providers by negotiating competitive prices and discounts to guarantee Bupa a competitive edge in the health insurance market.
Identify and Develop Cost effective providers considering customer and geographical evolving landscape.
Negotiate in collaboration with the medical and commercial team, the best pricing, terms and conditions of contracts with current provider’s portfolio.
Liaise with network providers to resolve customers complaints received through the customer service and sales units.
Plan, coordinate and carry out commercial reconciliation meetings with providers, this will include planning and coordinating meetings with the BUPA medical teams to ensure a quality and optimised reconciliation process delivery.
Assess, evaluate and improve in collaboration with the providers, the quality of services delivered by the providers to our customers through an agreed segmented Customer service offering.
Manage Provider relation team recruitment, staffing, induction and individual capability building plan.
Assess and evaluate, on a periodic basis, Provider relation operational performance progress at individual level against clear and defined objectives.
