ITP Media Group is looking for a smart, ambitious Marketing & Events Executive to contribute to the execution of its stable of industry and consumer events across brands including Time Out Saudi, Arabian Business, Commercial Interior Design Saudi Hotelier Saudi and Caterer Saudi, Construction Week Saudi, and Oil & Gas Middle East, ITP Live Saudi and ITP Gaming Saudi. The ideal candidate will have experience working on experiential marketing activations, be highly organised and keen to grow in the events sector. You will have a strong understanding of the elements needed to execute events such as conferences and gala dinners to a high level, have a keen eye for detail and excited by the idea of new formats and future trends in the events industry.
Requirements
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
The Events & Marketing executive will primarily be responsible for but not limited to the following:
- Supporting the Events Director in the delivery of events across consumer media brands including; Time Out Riyadh, Time Out Jeddah, Arabian Business, ITP Gaming, ITP Live Saudi, Commercial Interior Design Saudi, Hotelier Saudi and Caterer Saudi, Construction Week Saudi, and Oil & Gas Middle East.
- Work with the relevant division s Event Manager, and Editorial and Commercial teams to plan both brand and client-led events.
- Supporting the Events Director on ad-hoc and white label events, campaigns, and marketing activities.
- Handling a variety of undertakings including:
- Managing clients and sponsors
- Managing suppliers and venue contacts
- Managing talent
- Overseeing ticket / table sales
- Travel and scheduling of project stakeholders
- Liaising with the editorial and commercial teams on assets and branding
- Regular reporting to the editorial and commercial teams on event progress
- Support and contribute to the innovation of our events portfolio having your finger on the pulse and being quick to identify new trends in the event industry, and how they translate to our brands
- Support the end-to-end management of events across a broad spectrum of scales, from industry-facing gala dinners seating 1,000 people to intimate pop-up live music nights for a consumer audience.
- Support the editorial and commercial teams by drawing up media partnerships for brands, as agreed with the Editorial Director and Commercial Director.
Ensure events are delivered to a high standard, and in accordance with the relevant department s brand guidelines, goals and objectives.
Technical Competencies
- Bachelor s Degree in event management, or related field
- At least 2 years of industry related experience
