Manager - Stakeholder Managment

Black & Grey HR is recruiting for one of the leading developers in Abu Dhabi, UAE. Our Client is looking to hire a Manager - Stakeholder Managment to work within the Corporate & Stakeholder Engagement Team, to maintain existing relationships with key external stakeholders (Governmental Entities,), and to deliver and create valuable benefits in both design and

operation levels.The selected candidate will also manage the approvals of the design / shop Dwgs /inspections with all the project stakeholders and manage their expectations.

Responsibilities include -

- Responsible for developing and fostering community relationships and supporting Senior Management as the public face of the organization.

- Manage the interface between project personnel and all external stakeholders in an organized and systematic manner.

- Manage Consultants/Contractors and all stakeholders to the highest levels in an organised and systematic manner including all relevant authorities & monitor their compliance accordingly.

- Manage/Follow periodic progress report presentations to ensure continuous engagement.

- Proactively build strategic alliances and coalitions with key stakeholders whose work is aligned with the organizations priorities.

- Represent organizations interests by providing full support and guidance on all matters related to permitting & approvals for projects from Design- Construction to Handing Over.

- Lead Stakeholder engagement for projects by developing approaches to engagement, collaboration, and innovation that create new value for the company and society.

- Manage stakeholder outreach initiatives, dialogue, and other forms of engagement to understand key concerns and interests. Proactively build strategic alliances and coalitions with key constituency groups whose work and missions are aligned with organizations priorities.

- Maintain thorough knowledge of planning processes required to coordinate with the Authorities and government entities for clarifications, justifications and permitting by statutory authorities.

- Engage with Project Managers and Design Managers in planning & developing permitting strategies for projects and facilitate risks mitigations tools to avoid project delays.

Requirements

- 12 years of post-graduate experience

- Bachelors degree in Civil Engineering

- Ability to confidently and clearly communicate and write in both English and Arabic is a MUST

- Have knowledge and experience in dealing with the approval process for buildings, roads, and utility designs with the specific statutory authority/stakeholder in the UAE, specifically Abu Dhabi;

- Have strong leadership qualities and a track record of delivery;

- Continuously looking for innovations and improvements to manage workload and accomplish deliverables across individuals, teams and projects;

- Using leadership skills to build and nurture relationships and creating effective working environment;

Able to manage multiple teams with diverse backgrounds on geographically and culturally diverse teams
