Job Summary
We are seeking a Mechanical Maintenance Engineer to join the refinery that has the capacity to process BPD and is located in Western Saudi Arabia (Yanbu City) MEU is responsible to provide technical Maintenance support to daily activities and execute expense projects to ensure compliance with This Company & industry standards regulations and safety protocols Your primary role will be to promptly deal with any issues when faults or problems with equipment occur
Responsibilities
- Evaluate and troubleshoot equipment performance and mechanical problems
- Assess new technologies and alternative solutions for equipment repair and make optimal decisions
- Manage equipment repairs upgrades and complex installations utilizing both inhouse resources and contractor services
- Actively participate in Root Cause Analysis (RCA) and other technical discussions to identify and address underlying issues
- Provide comprehensive support and oversight to Junior Engineers
- Monitor and ensure timely closure of all payments related to contractor services
- Offer technical support to the maintenance team to enhance preventive maintenance strategies checks predictive maintenance strategies and operationbased maintenance checks
- Participate effectively in Operations Maintenance and Engineering (OME) meetings providing the necessary technical maintenance support
Requirements
- This role required candidate to permanently relocate at Dhahran Saudi Arabia
- Hold a Bachelors degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering from a recognized and approved program
- Possess a minimum of years of maintenance experience
- Demonstrate a thorough knowledge of engineering practices
- Preferred certifications include Fundamental Engineer (FE) Certified Maintenance & Reliability Professional (CMRP) and/or Project Management Professional (PMP)
- Any additional relevant certificates will be considered a plus
