Assistant Accountant

• Handling finance related tasks including preparation of banking documentation for import / export letter of credit (LC) and collection bills, SBLC and BG
  
• Process daily export / collection bills to be sent to banks for negotiation / presentation
  
• Follow up on export / collection bills discrepancies, acceptance payment and any disputes
  
• Processing of import bills and its settlements
  
• Process accounting data entries into accounting system
  
• Attend to queries from banks & trading departments
  
• Reconciliation of charges
  
• Assist the finance team in ad-hoc task when required
  
• MIS reporting
  

Requirements:

• Possess a Diploma in Accounting
  
• Possess minimum 1-3 year Trade Finance experience
  
• Prior experience in banking documentation, export LC documentation, collection bills & bankers guarantee
  
• Hands-on knowledge of letter of credits and INCOTERMS
  
• Knowledge of the latest UCP and ISBP will be advantageous
  
• Knowledge in accounting & bank reconciliation will be advantageous
  
• Proficiency in MS Office (intermediate user of MS Excel)
  
• Good communication & interpersonal skills
  
• Fluent n English
  
• UAE driving license
